Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join the largest retail client in Vancouver on a 6 month contract, 3-days on-site/week. This role allows you to be very curious about how tools fit into ways of working and discover how to improve usage of these tools to support existing flows of work while also having inclusivity of usage across of globally distributed employee base. The business analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to document requirements supporting inclusive, best-in-class features and functionality which enable our global, distributed workforce to collaborate and communicate effectively. The successful candidate must be curious about the tools we use and how they fit into the flow of employees' work, and also be really comfortable learning back ends of collaboration applications to help inform requirements. The resource should be skilled in prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs . The role will require facilitating stakeholders' sessions to document current state business process, pain points and design desired future process.
2-4 years of business analyst experience in Digital Workplace Domain - internal collaboration and communication tools.
Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and management for small to medium initiatives
Experience working in agile teams
Proven facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keep the end user needs at top of mind
Experience documenting requirements for Digital Workplace tools; experience specific to Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Miro highly desired; experience with other tools (e.g. Slack) ok.
Experience utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
