DevOps Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of Canada's largest retail and wellness companies in Vancouver, BC. We are sourcing a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and AWS clouds to join an Infrastructure and Cloud Services team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and GitLab. Your primary focus will be on establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines and ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software applications.

8+ years experience in a DevOps or relevant role

Experience in scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell (preferably PowerShell)

Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (i.e. virtualization, networking, storage, and security)

Certifications in Azure and/or AWS (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
