Insight Global is looking for a Product Owner to join one of our clients locally in Vancouver, BC. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that would require the successful candidate to be on-site every Tuesday and Thursday. They will be working alongside a Sr. Product Owner and working cross-functionally between a development team and the product management team to understand requirements and the "why" behind what they are implementing. The successful candidate should have strong experience working with Jira and Confluence, and should also possess a Scrum Master Certification. They will also be creating user stories in Jira and play an important part in sprint planning to ensure deliverables are met. Lastly, they should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 4-6 years of experience within Product Ownership or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Should be very comfortable creating user-stories and conducting sprint planning
- Needs to have SDLC working experience
- Must hold a Certified Scrum designation
- Holds their Master's degree
