Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines strong business analysis capabilities with technical data expertise to identify trends, validate complex datasets, and ensure the accuracy of critical business information. The ideal candidate will possess advanced SQL skills, exceptional critical-thinking abilities, and experience working with raw data sources and proprietary business applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and business insights.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple data sources.
• Perform detailed data comparisons to identify differences, anomalies, and data quality issues.
• Support business processes involving large-scale data structures, including tax code maintenance and validation (e.g., managing and analyzing tens of thousands of tax codes and identifying impacts of new additions).
• Investigate data inconsistencies and perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Work with internally developed platforms and applications to gather, validate, and maintain business data.
• Translate business requirements into technical data specifications and reporting needs.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational departments to improve data quality and business processes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and data requests effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in business data analysis, data management, or a related analytical role.
