Senior Plant Controller

A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Plant Controller to serve at the senior finance leader for a flagship manufacturing plant in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This role owns full‑cycle plant accounting including month‑end close and production accounting, cost control, and financial performance for the site while partnering closely with plant leadership to ensure alignment with corporate financial plans. Ensure plant activity aligns with the corporate‑approved financial plan. Set and enforce accounting standards and best practices at the plant level. Delivers daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting with cross‑checks and variance analysis while owning the monthly forecast and budgeting process. Oversees timecard uploads, payroll inputs, and labor reporting, and produces detailed variance analysis for plant and corporate stakeholders. Acts as a key financial partner to the Plant Manager and plant leadership across Operations, HR, Quality, and Safety. The role is highly visible, leadership‑focused, and critical to stabilizing and elevating plant financial operations and performance.

Salary: 145-180k/yr (exp level dependent)
BR: 122-147/hr

7-10 years of manufacturing plant finance experience (recent, hands‑on)

Owns month‑end close, forecast, reporting, variances, accruals

Strong cost, inventory, labor, and production accounting

ERP experience in manufacturing (Oracle preferred)

Senior leader comfortable partnering with plant leadership (not IC)

SAP experience (especially implementations)

Performance‑driven mindset (beyond GAAP / transactional accounting)

MES systems, SQL, or technical systems exposure

Labor relations or high‑volume plant environments experience
