Job Description

The Senior Media Manager is a hands‑on, strategic Retail Media specialist responsible for overseeing, executing, and optimizing multi‑retailer media programs across a portfolio of clients. This role focuses on both onsite and offsite Retail Media Networks and owns the full media lifecycle—from planning and budget allocation through activation, optimization, and performance storytelling.
The ideal candidate is a confident retail media practitioner who can manage multiple clients simultaneously, build media plans from fixed budgets, and adapt quickly as brands expand into new retailers and channels.
This role sits on the Client Services team and reports directly to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Media Strategy & Planning

Translate client business objectives into actionable Retail Media strategies
Build comprehensive media plans from defined budgets across multiple retailers and tactics
Develop retailer‑specific strategies based on assortment strategy, seasonality, and platform priorities
Recommend and manage the optimal mix of Sponsored Search, Display, and other retail‑native ad placements

Campaign Execution & Optimization

Own the setup, execution, and ongoing optimization of Retail Media campaigns across multiple platforms
Manage Sponsored Search, Sponsored Products, Display, and similar retail‑native ad formats
Monitor performance daily and optimize bids, budgets, targeting, and campaign structures
Apply insights and learnings across clients and retailers to drive efficiency and performance improvement

Client & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously with strong attention to detail
Partner closely with account, creative, and project management teams to support program success
Communicate performance insights, trends, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients
Support clients as they expand into new Retail Media Networks and emerging retail platforms

Performance Analysis & Insights

Analyze campaign performance and translate results into clear, actionable recommendations
Connect media performance to broader retail and business objectives
Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across retailers, channels, and tactics

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands‑on experience managing Retail Media campaigns
Experience across Sponsored Search, Sponsored Products, Display, and similar Retail Media formats
Proven ability to:

Manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
Build media plans from a fixed or defined budget


Hands‑on experience with Retail Media Networks such as:
- Walmart Connect
- Instacart
- Roundel
- 84.51
- Or similar retail media platforms


Strong desire to learn, evolve, and adapt as clients expand into new retailers and channels
Specialty retail experience is a strong plus, particularly within the pet category

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Agency experience
Programmatic or DSP experience (e.g., The Trade Desk or similar platforms)
Experience collaborating closely with account, creative, and project management teams
Experience updating or optimizing product detail pages on major retailer websites
Amazon Retail Media experience (not required)
