Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Category Manager to support a more technical, analytics driven category team. This role focuses on data analysis, modular development, and insight generation to support category strategy and execution. Ideal for a highly analytical, curious self starter who enjoys digging into data and turning insights into clear, impactful stories.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and draw modulars using Alteryx and space planning tools
• Analyze syndicated and internal data to identify category opportunities and performance trends
• Build dashboards, reporting, and tools to support category reviews and ongoing business needs
• Synthesize large data sets into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders
• Create visually compelling presentations in PowerPoint that tell a clear category story
• Support category planning through analytical insights and executional support
• Effectively manage and prioritize multiple analytical projects across timelines

Required Skills & Experience
Tools & Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Alteryx strongly preferred
• Experience with space planning software (JDA or similar) is a plus
• Familiarity with syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI), Power BI, Scintilla, and dashboarding tools
Qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in category management, analytics, or a data driven merchandising role
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and recommendations
• Comfortable working with large data sets and presenting findings clearly
• Curious, motivated, and eager to grow within category management
• CPG experience is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field preferred
