Job Description
We are seeking a Backend Java Developer to support a critical Order Management System (OMS) Mainframe‑to‑Cloud (MF2C) modernization initiative. This role will focus on designing and building cloud‑native Java microservices to replace legacy mainframe functionality and eliminate mainframe dependencies. The developer will contribute to migrating core OMS capabilities while supporting the database transition from DB2 to Cassandra in a high‑scale, distributed environment. Responsibilities include implementing centralized order validation, configurable workflows across countries, divisions, and channels, and enforcing a secure multi‑tenant platform. The role requires close collaboration with architecture, data, and platform teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and performant solutions aligned with cloud‑first standards. This position is critical to accelerating delivery timelines, reducing operational risk, and enabling enterprise scalability, international expansion, and long‑term cost savings.
