Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solutions Manager to lead the configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) functionalities across multiple domains. This role requires deep expertise in Cross Scenario Configuration, ChaRM, Central ATC Hub, Technical Monitoring, and SAP Cloud ALM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, proactive monitoring, and governance of SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Cross Scenario Configuration & System Setup
• Perform system preparation, infrastructure configuration, and basic configuration.
• Set up embedded search and ensure readiness for advanced SolMan features.
Change Request Management (ChaRM)
• Configure end-to-end ChaRM workflows including:
• Normal, Urgent, and Admin Change workflows.
• Custom approval workflows with at least two additional levels.
• Admin cockpit, CSOL, DGP, and cross-reference checks.
• Email notifications and auto transport movement to production.
• ChaRM-specific transport route and LCG setup.
Central ATC Hub Management
• Set up and manage Central ATC Hub system.
• Configure remote-based variants per managed system version.
• Enforce mandatory checks on task release and TOC import via ChaRM.
• Connect all managed systems and enable remote analysis.
• Baseline findings and manage release processes.
• Implement exceptional approval workflows.
Technical Monitoring
• Set up managed systems, diagnostic agents, and host agents.
• Enable MAI-based technical monitoring in SolMan.
• Configure system monitoring for ABAP, Java, and other platforms.
• Create and customize templates by product version.
• Adjust metrics and alerts, and configure alerting infrastructure using MAI_Tools.
SAP Cloud ALM
• Set up CTMS and configure integration and exception monitoring.
• Implement health monitoring and manage cloud tenant configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in SAP Solution Manager configuration and administration.
Strong understanding of ChaRM, ATC Hub, and Technical Monitoring.
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM and cloud-based SAP environments.
Ability to manage complex workflows and cross-functional integrations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

SAP certifications in Solution Manager or related modules.
Experience in large-scale SAP implementations or upgrades.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in SAP environments.
