Job Description
A large retailer headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas is looking for a Solid Waste and Recycling Specialist to join their team. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring various systems for varying Solid Waste and Recycling trades (outlined below). He/She will monitor an email box for escalations for items specific to the trade. They will log these escalations in a ticketing system for tracking. In addition, they will monitor the retailers work order system for their specific trade to ensure that work orders are being responded to within a timely manner. Candidate will be responsible to contact the trade vendor to get updates, relay those updates to store management, and work with the appropriate team to escalate if necessary.
Trade areas:
- Solid Waste (compactors and open tops and perishable loss) -MRB - Mixed Recycling Bale - OCC (Old Corrugated Cardboard) Bells - Organic and Meat Renderings Non-Retail all of the recycling that is done for fulfillment centers

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience communicating to varying levels of leadership within an organization
- Previous experience in a detail-oriented role
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and team working skills
- Strong computer skills - proficient in excel, dual screens, reporting.
- Comfortable with both the Service Channel system and utilizing outlook.
- Ability to multitask and work cross functionally through multiple departments
-Strong communication skills both verbally and virtually through email
- Excellent prioritizing and time management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Has a background in customer relations/ issue resolution
- Background in waste management and recycling programs
