A large global retailer in the Northwest Arkansas area is seeking a skilled Backend Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust and scalable backend systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java.
Implement and manage cloud-based solutions to ensure scalability and reliability.
Work with SQL and various database technologies to store, retrieve, and manage data efficiently.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

6+ years of experience as a Backend Java Developer.
Strong proficiency in Java programming.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Experience with front-end technologies, particularly React.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
