A large global retailer in the Northwest Arkansas area is looking for a talented Java Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our cutting-edge projects. This person will join the Finance Technology organization supporting a project called Allowances. They are integrating merchants systems into the companies systems to track volume or fixed rebates. This project has already been completed for the US markets and now they are replicating this for the Chile market, then will be replicating in MX and LATAM down the line.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
Integrate front-end components with server-side logic using React.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

5+ years of experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP
Proficiency in front-end technologies, particularly React
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
