Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Acquisitions Accountant to assist the Controller to provide financial expertise and analysis to ensure the success of complex transactions. This candidate will monitor the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, closing the prior month's books, answering lot inquiries, and assisting with projects on an as-needed basis.





What your day will consist of:

· Due diligence, financial analysis, valuations, tax planning, financial modeling, integration planning, risk assessment, compliance and reporting, and post-merger integration.

· System integrations and setting up new financial reports from scratch.

· Assist in Company financial planning and budget management functions.

· Coordinate off system close of acquisitions managing internal controls within their system.

· Assist in the monthly close of company books

· Gather information from varied departments and compile the Executive Summary.

· Monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts

· Assist with internal controls within accounting department and process narratives are up to date.

· Ensure OPEX recons are done monthly, review and report on unusual items

· Act in a backup capacity for the Controller and Accounts Payable Manager.

· Complete special projects requested by the Director of External Reporting, Controller or Chief Financial Officer.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.

· Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.

Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.
