Job Description
The Windows Engineering VDI team is responsible for providing on-prem and cloud hosted virtual PCs for 30k associates and vendors. Our team is growing as demand increases for our solutions and services. We are looking for talented candidates who have knowledge, skills, and abilities in on-prem infrastructure management, Azure Cloud IaaS management, hypervisor administration, and working knowledge of one of the following solutions - VMware Horizon, Microsoft AVD, Citrix, or Frame. The ideal candidate will also have a developer administrator mindset and related skillset as we seek to implement automation and self-service technologies. This position partners closely with our associates and global tech teams to ensure stability, security, performance, and productivity for our virtual Windows endpoints. Required Skills & Experience
- The ability to motivate, communicate, written and verbally, work reliably as a team member and individually.
- Ability to lead small groups of engineers
- Cloud Experience (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience maintaining multiple virtual infrastructures, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, Azure, and HCS
- Experience with deploying, maintaining, and implementing hosted virtual applications
- A deep understanding of VMware products, vSphere, vRops, vCenter
