Day-to-day -

· Assist the controller with the monitoring of day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, closing the prior month's books, answering lot inquiries, and any special projects

· Assist in Company financial planning and budget management functions.

· Coordinate off system close of acquisitions managing internal controls within their system.

· Assist in the monthly close of company books

· Gather information from varied departments and compile the Executive Summary.

· Monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts

· Assist with internal controls within accounting department and process narratives are up to date.

· Ensure OPEX recons are done monthly, review and report on unusual items

· Act in a backup capacity for the Controller and Accounts Payable Manager.

· Complete special projects requested by the Director of External Reporting, Controller or Chief Financial Officer.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.

· Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.

Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.

Must haves -

· Able to provide mentorship when necessary

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· 1-2+ years of experience in accounting

· Accounts Payable

· Financial planning and budget management experience

· Month closings

· Internal controls

· Reconciliations of general ledger accounts

· Advanced in excel (pivot tables, V lookups, etc)

· Highly analytical, data driven and have a knack for research on GAAP and SEC requirements

· Not job hoppy (1.5+ years in roles)

Personable, driven, strong communications kills

Plusses -

Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
