Job Description
A large global retailer is looking to hire a CVP Developer to join their Platforms organization. The candidate will be working collaboratively across multiple IT functions, employees, and vendors to ensure that IT operations for cloud and on-premise global voice infrastructures are reliable and scalable. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CVP and Call Studio development, a strong understanding of Telephony concepts, and proficiency in Java with a focus on CVP development. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in IP networking, web protocols, and REST APIs for CVP projects, as well as have familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems.
The candidate's typical day will consist of developing CVP applications, utilizing Call Studio to design interactive voice response systems, and implementing and testing telephony solutions. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex IVR systems using CVP Call Studio and be proficient in VXML development for defining call flows and interactions with callers. Moreover, experience with speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies used in CVP applications will be essential for creating seamless voice interactions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with CVP (Cisco Voice Portal)
- Understanding of Telephony concepts (SIP, Trunking, and SIPREC)
- Experience with Java with a focus on CVP development
- Experience with IP networking, web protocols, and REST APIs
- Knowledge of automated code deployments and continuous integration in CVP environments
- Good understanding of WebRTC and SIP specifications and implementation details
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems for CVP applications
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems using CVP Call Studio
- Proficiency in VXML (VoiceXML) development for defining call flows and interactions with callers
- Experience with Dialogflow for natural language understanding and conversation management in voice interactions
- Cyara telephony load testing experience for evaluating and ensuring the performance and scalability of CVP applications
- dynamic call routing and multi-channel interactions.
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with cloud-based contact center solutions and their integration with CVP for scalable and flexible deployments.
- Experience with Splunk for log management, monitoring, and analytics in CVP deployments.
- Familiarity with AppDynamics for application performance monitoring and troubleshooting in CVP environments.
- Experience with Prometheus for monitoring and alerting in CVP deployments.
- GitHub integration experience for version control and collaborative CVP application development.
- Proficiency in Jenkins for continuous integration and automated build and deployment in CVP projects.
