One of our largest national clients is seeking a Remote Transportation Product Manager. This person will be managing multiple tech/transportation products for this company. This person will be working in tandem with large technical teams of Developers, testers, etc. A strong knowledge of the retail or supply chain industry is a plus, as all of the product will be supporting this division. Each application is in different phases of conception so being able to take a product from cradle to grave is incredibly important. This person should also have product fundamentals, such as creating their backlog, process maps, customer journey maps, tracking KPI's, and training end users.
- 5-7 years' of Product management experience, specifically within transportation or transportation management systems (TMS)
- Experience with pricing management, optimization, routing, or how carriers are paid and communicated with
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Experience working directly with engineering teams, UX teams, developers, etc.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
Responsibilities include cross-functional engagement, creating a roadmap, owning and eliciting requirements, understanding trade-offs and needs across business teams
- Retail specific transportation experience
