Insight Global is looking for a Golang Developer to join a large ecommerce company. The candidate will be responsible for networking and running the programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with DevOps, terraform or ansible and how to deploy features from different servers. The team is looking for a candidate who can help with the server side development and observability dashboards.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of professional backend experience; you will mostly be working on servers.
- Proficiency withGo, C++, Java or another server-side programming language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Communicating with engineers is a part of thejob.
- Willing to dive into unfamiliar things. Sometimes bugs or features require us to dig into TCP/IP, the DNS spec, logging infrastructure, Linux system administration, and more.
- Experience with running infrastructure solutions across private and public cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Comfortable working on a fully remote team
