Backend Java Developer

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Health & Wellness team. This individual will be responsible for working with the pharmacy facing applications and websites used to schedule immunizations and other appointments. The team is made up of roughly 5 front-end developers and 8 back end developers. This individual will be a core contributor to the team and will be responsible for critical parts of the application. This Sr. Engineer can expect 50% of their day involving hands on development and the other 50% will be helping/mentoring jr. engineers. This person will be talking to product owners to understand the requirements and create the design and assist with building the framework.

-8+ years of experience with Core java

-Experience building in Spring Framework

-Must have strong cloud based development experience

-nexgen tech stack: sql server, cosmos, azure, react, react native, kafka, etc.

-Specific experience with cloud deployments

-Helping with development, understanding requirements, and understand the design

-Experience using source control systems (git)

-Solid skills in React Native, Angular, JavaScript, Java,

-Solid experience with mobile development (Android, iOS)

-Understanding micro-service architecture and domain driven approach

-Experience of delivering and supporting a large-scale production system

-Experience working with logging and application monitoring stack: Splunk, Grafana etc

-Some level of experience with backend services - being able to understand backend tech stack, needs and limitations
