Job Description

An Insight Global customer is looking to hire Facilities Electrical Section Manager for a new state of the art semiconductor facility in north Phoenix. This person will be responsible for leading the design, installation, commissioning, operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical systems supporting the factory. This includes high, medium and low-voltage power distribution, emergency power systems, lighting, facility infrastructure, and tool hook-up systems. This role provides technical and organizational leadership to a team of engineers and technicians while ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient electrical power delivery to support manufacturing and cleanroom operations. This is a full-time opportunity with our customer, and you can plan to expect a compensation range of $120k to $150k. Exact compensation may vary depending on years of experience and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, facility operations, design, construction, or commissioning, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience is preferred
Strong understanding of power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, emergency power systems, and power quality management.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and engineering studies.
Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, and other relevant standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Bluebeam, Arc Flash study software, and related engineering tools.
Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience managing facility design, construction, commissioning, startup, and operational support activities.
Professional Engineering License (PE) is mandatory

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Semiconductor manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.
