Job Description
Insight Global is seeking multiple Senior .NET Developers and a Lead for a large public‑sector client in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support the design, enhancement, and optimization of critical enterprise applications used across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on developer with deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and modern front‑end technologies like React. This team is focused on modernization efforts, performance improvements, and building scalable, high-impact systems.
This is part of a broader hiring initiative that will also include a Lead-level resource and additional mainframe developers to support long-term system transformation efforts. Strong candidates will be highly autonomous, capable of owning workstreams, and comfortable working across the full stack.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of professional C# / .NET development experience (team prefers very senior profiles, ideally 10+ years mindset)
Experience with EDI, HL7, and FHIR
Strong SQL Server expertise, including advanced T‑SQL optimization, performance tuning, and refactoring
Experience with ASP.NET 4.0+ and .NET Core
Advanced Entity Framework experience
Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
React experience with hooks and state management (Redux or Context API)
Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
Ability to write User Stories and work within Agile teams
Experience with full SDLC development
Must pass HireRight background check and drug screening
Resume must clearly list current Phoenix, AZ location
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Healthcare systems or healthcare development experience (HUGE plus)
Cybersecurity experience or security-focused development exposure
EDI Transactions experience
DevOps / CI-CD experience
GitHub version control experience

Bootstrap front‑end experience
Advanced SSIS knowledge
Performance tuning (concurrency & latency optimization)
