Mainframe CICS System Administrator

Insight Global’s client, a Technical System Integrator, is seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS System Administrator to support and maintain critical enterprise mainframe environments. This individual will be responsible for the administration, performance, stability, and modernization of IBM CICS Transaction Server environments supporting mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in CICS administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and production support within large-scale z/OS environments.

pay range: $45-50/hr

5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) environments.
Strong experience supporting enterprise z/OS mainframe systems.
Experience performing CICS installations, upgrades, PTF maintenance, and region administration.

Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and business continuity processes.
Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with related mainframe technologies including z/OS, JES2, RACF, DB2, MQ, and IMS.
