Role Summary
The Technical Trainer – Logistics delivers role-based technical instruction and on-the-job coaching across receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, line-side delivery, and outbound shipping operations. This role ensures all logistics personnel are trained, certified, and operationally ready to support material flow, inventory accuracy, and production continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver function-specific training across inbound/receiving, inventory management, picking/packing/kitting, line-side delivery, and outbound shipping workflows.
Lead role-specific advanced safety certifications, including Forklift Certification, Rigging & Load Handling, Heavy Load Movement, and Spotter Training.
Provide hands-on OJT for Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage, cycle counting, traceability, and material reconciliation.
Train material handlers and coordinators on documentation (BOLs, manifests), dock management, and carrier interface processes.
Validate operator competency through structured skill assessments and progressive qualification (awareness → qualified → certified).
Partner with Logistics Operations leadership to identify skills gaps, deliver refresher training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain training records, certification expirations, and compliance status within the LMS.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of logistics, warehouse, or material handling experience with at least 2 years in a training, lead, or supervisory capacity.
Active Forklift Certification (Trainer credential strongly preferred).
Working knowledge of WMS platforms and inventory control practices.
OSHA-10 certified (OSHA-30 preferred).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Rigging & Signalperson certification.
Lean / Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing or data center equipment logistics environments.
