Position Summary
The Operations Manager – Digital Systems Integration is responsible for the day-to-day execution, administration, adoption, and operational support of the digital systems ecosystem supporting Fluidstack’s Phoenix production facility.
Working under the direction of the Sr. Program Manager – DSI Integration & Stand-Up, this role translates system strategy and governance requirements into operational execution by coordinating platform deployment, workflow implementation, user adoption, reporting operations, and cross-functional system support activities.
The Operations Manager serves as the primary operational liaison between Manufacturing, Logistics, Training, Facilities, Maintenance, and enterprise system stakeholders to ensure digital tools are integrated into actual business processes and consistently support production objectives.
This position is accountable for ensuring operational systems remain reliable, users remain engaged, reporting remains accurate, and system-related issues are proactively identified and resolved.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Deployment & Operational Readiness
Support deployment and operationalization of digital platforms supporting manufacturing and facility operations, including:
MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
ERP / Supply Chain Systems
LMS (Learning Management Systems)
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
Reporting and Dashboarding Platforms
Coordinate go-live readiness activities, user access validation, testing support, and operational acceptance activities.
Ensure systems are configured and deployed in alignment with approved business processes and operational requirements.
Business Process Integration
Translate operational requirements into executable system workflows.
Work directly with operational stakeholders across:
Fabrication
Assembly
Logistics
Warehouse Operations
Training
Maintenance
Facilities
Ensure system functionality aligns with day-to-day operational execution.
Identify workflow gaps, inefficiencies, or adoption challenges and drive corrective actions.
Reporting & Dashboard Operations
Manage day-to-day administration of operational dashboards and reporting outputs.
Support development, deployment, and maintenance of:
Production dashboards
Workforce dashboards
Quality dashboards
Logistics dashboards
Executive reporting packages
Validate data quality and reporting accuracy.
Support continuous improvement of reporting structures as operational maturity increases.
Data Governance & Integrity
Support governance of production, labor, quality, inventory, maintenance, and training data.
Ensure:
Data consistency
Data accuracy
Reporting reliability
System compliance
Monitor data quality issues and coordinate remediation activities with operational and technical stakeholders.
Support KPI ownership and metric standardization initiatives.
User Adoption & Change Management
Serve as the primary operational lead for system adoption activities.
Partner with Operations, Training, and Functional Leaders to ensure:
User onboarding
System utilization
Process compliance
Reporting adoption
Develop user guidance materials and support training efforts tied to system deployment.
Monitor adoption metrics and escalate risks to the Sr. Program Manager.
Vendor Coordination & Issue Management
Coordinate with platform providers, implementation partners, and internal support resources.
Manage:
Issue identification
Ticket tracking
Resolution follow-up
Enhancement requests
Escalation management
Maintain visibility into open actions, system risks, and deployment dependencies.
Provide regular status reporting to program leadership.
Governance & Operational Support
Support execution of established governance structures including:
Daily operational reviews
Weekly performance meetings
KPI review sessions
Executive reporting cycles
Maintain:
RAID logs
Action item registers
Decision logs
System deployment trackers
Ensure reporting deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
Phase 1 & Phase 2 Mobilization Support
Phase 1 – Mobilization & Documentation
Support establishment of:
System architecture
Data ownership structures
Reporting templates
Governance workflows
User readiness plans
Participate in documentation reviews and operational readiness validation activities.
Phase 2 – Site Launch & Personnel Ramp
Support activation of:
Core data streams
Dashboards
Reporting cadence
Escalation processes
System adoption activities
Provide frontline operational support during site go-live and ramp activities.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to:
Improve workflow efficiency
Increase reporting automation
Improve dashboard functionality
Enhance user experience
Increase system adoption
Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aligned to operational performance objectives.
