Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Senior IBMi (iSeries) AI Automation Engineer for a leading enterprise client focused on modernizing legacy infrastructure through advanced automation. This candidate will spearhead the development of AI-enabled solutions to transform vulnerability patching processes across IBMi environments. They will design and implement agent-based frameworks that automate remediation at scale, seamlessly integrating with existing systems and security tools. Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
• 10+ years of IBMi (iSeries) infrastructure engineering (installation, testing, operations)
• Strong experience building AI/agent-based automation frameworks
• Advanced Python programming in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience integrating with IBMi (iSeries) APIs
• Experience in large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments
• Ability to design and deploy automation solutions at scale
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Experience with agent-based or autonomous system architectures
• Familiarity with IBMi vulnerability patching tools and processes
• Exposure to AIOps / AI-driven infrastructure operations
• Background in security-focused automation or remediation workflows
