Job Description
Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise connectivity and network security for external facing connectivity models. (VPN, Remote Access, Internet, Public Cloud, Business Partner, etc.). This position requires strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) network and security controls design, along with basic knowledge and understanding of network architecture and support models for AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environment. Knowledge of Cisco and Arista fabric based routing and switching platforms is also required. This role partners closely with cloud platform, security, and enterprise engineering teams to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable connectivity patterns for business-critical workloads.
This position requires significant knowledge of GCP networking (VPC design, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud Router/BGP, shared VPC, segmentation, and network security controls). Additional public cloud platform knowledge on AWS and Azure is a bonus, Candidate must have a background in Cisco and Arista based networking in addition to the aforementioned cloud skill sets.
Assesses design submissions for security compliance against established baselines and shepherds requestors through technical challenges until designs are complete. Acts as a liaison between Global Information Security and engineering/operations teams, serving as an escalation point when required.
A self-starter capable of leading projects and troubleshooting multivendor solutions in lab or POC environments. Manages assigned networking projects, program components, and deployments to deliver services aligned with company objectives. Maintains a strong understanding of network

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills
• 10+ years in enterprise network engineering/architecture role.
• Significant GCP networking experience (or equivalent depth with strong evidence of GCP specialization)
• Strong understanding of GCP VPCs, Shared VPC, Cloud Router, BGP, Interconnect/VPN, route propagation and segmentation strategies.
• Basic knowledge of AWS and Azure public cloud offerings.
• Strong knowledge of routing and network fundamentals; switching, BGP, VPN, Remote Access, etc.
• Significant experience with Cisco and/or Arista based switching and routing platforms
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and executive stakeholders, including producing polished documentation.

Desired Skills
• Multi-cloud hybrid connectivity experience across GCP InterConnect, AWS DirectConnect and Azure ExpressRoute, including common patterns and failure modes.
• Experience with EVPN architectures, WAN edge designs, SD-WAN integration, and network segmentation at scale.
• Security experience to include egress controls, traffic inspection integration, encryption (IPsec/MACsec), key management workflows, zero-trust access patterns.
• Fundamental routing and switching background.

Bonus Skills
• Terraform, cloud-native deployment patterns, CI/CD integration, policy-as-code.
• Industry certifications:
o Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer/Google Professional Cloud Architect
o AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty
o Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Azure Network Engineer Associate
o CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center), Arista ACE (or equivalent)
