Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Fire Prevention Manager (Fire Chief) to oversee daily fire safety operations within a large-scale manufacturing facility. This individual will lead and manage the on-site fire brigade, providing coaching, direction, and performance oversight while partnering closely with EH&S, Facilities, and Production teams to maintain a safe working environment. On a daily basis, they will conduct fire safety inspections across equipment, systems, and processes to ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and local fire codes, while also maintaining fire protection systems such as sprinklers, alarms, and suppression equipment. The Fire Prevention Manager will lead emergency preparedness efforts by coordinating drills, maintaining response plans, and acting as the on-site Incident Commander during fire or hazardous events. Additionally, they will train employees on fire prevention and emergency procedures, investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in fire safety infrastructure, policies, and overall plant risk mitigation. This role can pay between 94K - 119K based on an evaluation of relevant experience and education level.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree (Fire Science / Ooccupational Safety / Emergency Management / Engineering)
7+ years of Experience leading fire prevention or emergency response teams in an industrial/manufacturing environment
1+ Year of experience Managing a team of direct reports
Strong knowledge of NFPA fire codes and OSHA safety regulations
Hands-on experience developing and implementing Fire Prevention policies & procedure (Evacuation Plans / Trainings & Drills)
Fire certification such as Fire Officer, Fire Inspector, or Firefighter II
