Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Photolithography Process Engineer to support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing operations in Chandler, AZ. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing photolithography processes primarily with TEL Tracks (ACT 8 / Mark 7), in addition to ASML Scanners, Canon Steppers, and KLA metrology systems. The engineer will work closely with both equipment and device teams to drive process stability, reduce variation, and enable zero-defect manufacturing.
As a process owner, this individual will be responsible for identifying long-term process trends, reducing sources of variation, and improving overall yield performance. This includes driving reductions in wafer scrap and photo rework, implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) using Six Sigma methodologies, and developing robust Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs). Additionally, the engineer will lead process optimization efforts, improve tool utilization and availability, and partner with manufacturing and industrial engineering teams on capacity planning and modeling.
This role also involves developing and documenting standard work procedures, supporting process development activities, qualifying and releasing new equipment, and training technicians and fab associates on proper process execution and tool operation. The engineer will participate in cross-functional and lean initiatives, working closely with equipment engineering teams to eliminate process variation and with device teams to improve overall process integration margins.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in photolithography process engineering within a semiconductor fab environment. We are seeking someone who is comfortable operating at the intersection of process and equipment, capable of supporting real-time manufacturing issues on the floor while also driving long-term process improvements outside of the fab. This individual should be data-driven, highly collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement through structured problem-solving methodologies.
