Job Description
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative within a higher education environment. This role will focus primarily on PeopleSoft HCM development, upgrade support, and custom retrofits, along with integration work as the organization moves to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for a developer experienced in modern PeopleSoft environments, web services, and upgrade-related development work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Responsibilities
• Support a major PeopleSoft upgrade and modernization effort
• Perform custom retrofit development to align existing customizations with upgraded environments
• Contribute to new development as needed due to legacy system gaps
• Build and maintain web services (REST/SOAP) to enable data integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems
• Assist with integration validation and troubleshooting during system transitions
• Support short-term efforts tied to a workflow migration into ServiceNow, specifically around exposing PeopleSoft data
• Collaborate with internal teams and implementation partners to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Help stabilize and optimize the environment as it transitions into a cloud-based infrastructure

A senior-level PeopleSoft HCM developer who can:
• Confidently handle upgrade + retrofit work in OCI
• Build true web services/integrations (not just support them)
• Operate effectively under aggressive timelines
• Balance short-term integration needs with long-term modernization work

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ year of strong hands-on PeopleSoft Development experience
• Experience working within PeopleSoft HCM (HR modules) 9.2 and People Tools 8.58 or higher
• Proven experience supporting PeopleTools upgrades, PUM upgrades and patches, and Custom retrofit development
• Experience with Fluid UI components including Fluid Pages, Homepages, Tiles
• Experience building web services / integrations, Integration Broker.
o Ability to expose data from PeopleSoft to external systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or cloud migrations
• Experience with PeopleSoft Finance (FSCM) or Campus Solutions modules
