Job Description
The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking an Informatica Developer to support ongoing data modernization initiatives and cloud transformation efforts. This individual will join Kuldeep’s team and play a key role in building, optimizing, and integrating data pipelines across Azure-based environments.
This role sits at the intersection of backend data engineering and modern application development, supporting both enterprise data workflows and AI-driven initiatives leveraging tools like Copilot and Gemini.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as an Informatica Developer (PowerCenter, IICS, or equivalent)
Strong experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience working in Azure environments (data services, storage, pipelines)
Backend development experience with Python and/or C#
Experience integrating data with modern applications
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Familiarity with API integrations and microservices architecture
Ability to work in a fast-paced, modernization-driven environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working within government or highly regulated environments (SLED a plus)
Exposure to AI/ML integrations, specifically MS OpenAI (Copilot) or Google Gemini
Frontend experience with React and JavaScript
Experience supporting enterprise data migration or legacy modernization efforts
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards (NIST, etc.)
