Job Description

This role supports the development, testing, and production of advanced defense systems by building and maintaining Windows-based software applications used in factory and lab environments. You’ll work closely with hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure test equipment software is reliable, scalable, and production-ready.
This is a hands-on, onsite engineering role focused on real-world hardware and mission-critical systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
Hands-on experience developing software using one or more of the following:
C++
C#
Java, Python, or Visual Basic
Microsoft Visual Studio
Windows Operating System
Debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues
Ability to work onsite in a secure, production-focused environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Understanding of computer architecture and hardware performance optimization
Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces
Knowledge of network and data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
Familiarity with UML for software design and architecture
Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development environments
Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills
