Job Description
One of our large retail clients is seeking a data focused Senior Business Analyst to join their team and support the B2B and B2C Payments domain within their broader Data organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the requirements, design, testing, and delivery of data related solutions that enable payment insights and operational effectiveness. As part of a Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) team, this individual will drive actionable insights, enhance stakeholder engagement across Payments and Data Engineering teams, and contribute to a collaborative, high performing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in Data and BI, along with proven experience acting as a liaison between Engineering teams and business stakeholders within complex, enterprise scale domains.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create source to target mapping for data integration projects.
• Develop mock-ups and prototypes to visualize solutions.
• Verify and validate developed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Facilitate hand-off of solutions to business users and provide necessary training and support.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, addressing challenges, clarifying expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure solutions align with project priorities, quality standards, and business needs.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on data and Business Intelligence and Data Engineering.
- Experience owning the end-to-end delivery of a data product
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and BI tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake, including building end to end data pipelines from requirements gathering through delivery
- Experience with source-to-target mapping and data integration projects.
- Strong cloud experience, specifically leading a data migration into cloud
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
