Job Description

Seeking a SACM Process Analyst for a large enterprise client. This individual will play a key role in establishing, maintaining, and improving Service Asset and Configuration Management processes across multiple technology domains and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of IT asset data across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with complex data sets, and confident collaborating with senior stakeholders. Will play a key role in improving CMDB integrity, driving data quality standards, and supporting reporting and operational excellence across IT infrastructure. This candidate should have a strong ITIL foundation, hands-on ServiceNow or Remedy experience, and a process-driven mindset. This role partners closely with infrastructure, GIS, and downstream teams to ensure accurate asset data, governance compliance, and continuous process improvement in a hybrid work environment.

Day-to-Day:
• Manage and prioritize the asset management workorder queue, including creation, updates, and attribute changes across ServiceNow and Remedy
• Support product catalog management, including onboarding new products and ensuring catalog content meets stringent standards
• Support SACM Operations in maintaining accurate CMDB inventory
• Perform data analysis and validation across multiple systems of record
• Assess data consistency and accuracy across IT infrastructure sources
• Analyze data integrations into the Master Data Warehouse
• Identify trends, gaps, and root causes of data quality issues
• Drive data standardization initiatives and quality improvements
• Provide input into reporting, integrations, and master data model changes
• Partner with cross-functional technology and business teams

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles
• Strong experience with SACM (Service Asset & Configuration Management) processes
• Product catalog experience (new product onboarding)
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow (preferred) or Remedy IT Service Management – understanding common service data model (CSDM) and modeling concepts
• Foundational SQL knowledge (simple queries, ability to understand schemas and data attributes)
• Familiarity with infrastructure and software operational procedures (install, remove, modify)
• Process design and documentation experience
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to “connect the dots” across data sources
• Experience with problem management and ability to dive into root cause analysis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
• ITIL Foundations Certification
• Experience supporting Technology Domains and dashboard monitoring
• Prior work with GIS or asset data coverage initiatives
• Experience driving Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives
• Background working in regulated or audit-heavy environments
