Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking a Sr. Ultra-Pure Water Engineer to design, install and commission the UPW systems for a new manufacturing facility in North Phoenix. This role is one of the first key roles being hired at this new facility so there is immense opportunity for upward mobility in the future. It is expected that this person is capable of making an immediate impact without much training or oversight. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing engineering drawings, submittals and driving construction project schedules.
- Partnering with UPW vendors to ensure proper equipment installation and commissioning.
- Update and distribute UPW system documentation, manuals, and processes.
- Train the initial team of technicians for the UPW team.
- Develop preventative maintenance systems and emergency response procedures.
- Further responsibilities related to capacity planning, and overall optimal system performance as the facility scales.

This role will operate full-time on-site at the new facility, including working out of construction trailers until the office is open in about 12 months. This is a full-time role and we can offer a salary between $130k and $170k plus bonuses and a generous benefits package. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Process Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
Over 8 years of experience designing an operating UPW systems preferably in the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing space.
Full understanding of UPW step-by-step purification methods
Experience training technician and operator personnel on UPW systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's Degree in relevant discipline
PE "Professional Engineering) License
