Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly versatile Scrum Lead / Project Manager hybrid to support Infrastructure & Operations initiatives. This role will play a critical part in helping centralize project delivery back into a formal PMO while simultaneously supporting agile execution across multiple technical teams.
The ideal candidate can wear multiple hats-, balancing traditional project management responsibilities with Scrum Lead duties, while partnering closely with highly technical teams focused on infrastructure, automation, and operations. This individual will initially operate in a 70% Project Manager / 30% Scrum Lead capacity, with the long-term goal of evolving into a full-time Scrum Lead as agile maturity increases.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and operations projects in an agile environment
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Act as a servant leader to multiple scrum teams while ensuring alignment with PMO standards
• Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Drive dependency management and coordination across teams and initiatives
• Support PI Planning and roadmap alignment
• Partner closely with infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver work effectively
• Track and report on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies using Microsoft-aligned PM tools
• Help guide teams and stakeholders through early-stage agile adoption and continuous improvement
• Ensure delivery aligns with business priorities and technical constraints of infrastructure work

Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Scrum Lead / Project Manager with a strong Agile / Scrum background
• Strong IT infrastructure and operations domain knowledge, with an understanding of the unique nature and sequencing of infrastructure work
• Experience managing multiple scrum teams and projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps for backlog, sprint, and delivery tracking
• Demonstrated ability to manage project financials and reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across highly technical teams and business stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting organizations in the early stages of Agile transformation
• Background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks
• Experience leading PI Planning sessions
• Familiarity with Microsoft-based project management and collaboration tools
