Job Description

A large manufacturing client supporting the Semiconductor industry in Chandler, AZ is looking to hire an EHS Manager directly responsible for supporting and implementing safety initiatives across major production sites. In this role, you will lead the execution of the regional EHS Management System and strategy across all sites, ensuring full alignment with applicable legislation and governance standards. You will oversee the appointment, qualification, and ongoing development of site-based safety professionals, while partnering with local leadership to drive a sustainable approach to risk assessment, documentation, and mitigation through both preventative and protective measures. The role is responsible for ensuring effective SHE reporting systems are in place to track site health and safety performance, with a strong emphasis on leading indicators, and for driving employee engagement through well-designed EHS programs, training, and development initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in quarterly and annual EHS performance reviews, provide expert input and guidance, and lead investigations into serious incidents that could impact the region, reporting findings as appropriate.
This role can pay between $105k–$130k depending on experience.
This position requires approximately 10% travel to a second production site in Nogales, MX.

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience within safety for a manufacturing environment.
5 years of direct safety management experience
Skilling in performing ISO and safety audits
ISO Certified
Experienced in managing safety programs across large sites
Has a valid passport, and is willing and able to drive to the secondary location in Nogales, MX.
