Job Description
As a UI / UX Designer II, you will provide expertise in user experience and interface design within a given domain. You will identify design and usability needs, take on design responsibilities for moderately complex features and workflows, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business partners.
- Design intuitive, user centered experiences for web and application based products.
- Create and maintain design artifacts including wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into clear, usable design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.
- Apply and contribute to established design systems, patterns, and visual standards.
- Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility, and consistency standards.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from peers and stakeholders.
- Support usability testing efforts and incorporate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Develop and maintain design documentation to ensure alignment with team standards and processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design roles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end to end design thinking and execution.
- Experience designing responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma or similar).
- Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative product development processes.
-Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a shared design system.
- Exposure to usability testing and user research techniques.
- Experience designing for complex, data driven, or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Financial Services or regulated environments.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading design initiatives.
