Job Description
The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services across domestic and international operations for the client. This role supports complex executive, multi-state, and multi-jurisdictional payrolls, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for advanced payroll reporting, reconciliation, and audit support, as well as contributing to ongoing technical system enhancements within SAP/SuccessFactors.
In this role, you will partner closely with HR, Finance, Tax, and IT teams to ensure payroll data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and improve end-to-end payroll processes. The ideal candidate brings strong payroll expertise, advanced Excel skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset to help streamline workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and support the client’s broader strategic and operational goals. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Four (4) years of experience in payroll, accounting, analytics, or a related field OR a Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of payroll, tax, or accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation, tax reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience working with complex formulas, pivot tables, and large datasets
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance requirements, data accuracy, and internal control standards
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
