Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our team in managing and maintaining our large-scale enterprise network. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for performing L2 network troubleshooting, network device installs, network cabling, network device, and cable decommissions and conducting network audits. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure seamless network operations and provide critical support to maintain the efficiency and security of our network infrastructure. Responsibilities:
1. L2 Network Troubleshooting:
o Analyze and resolve L2 network issues, such as network connectivity, performance, and configuration problems.
o Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and rectify network anomalies promptly.
2. Network Device Installs:
o Install, configure, and deploy network devices, including switches, routers, and access points, according to established guidelines and best practices.
o Ensure proper integration of new devices into the existing network architecture.
3. Network Cabling:
o Plan, install, and maintain network cabling infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic cables.
o Verify cable integrity and adherence to industry standards for efficient data transmission.
4. Network Device and Cable Decommissions:
o Safely decommission and remove outdated or malfunctioning network devices and cables.
o Document the decommissioning process and update network documentation accordingly.
5. Network Audits:
o Conduct periodic network audits to assess performance, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
o Generate detailed reports and recommend improvements based on audit findings.
6. Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network architects, system administrators, and security specialists, to address network-related requirements and challenges.
o Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to team initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
o Proven experience (3-5years) in L2 network troubleshooting, network device installations, and network cabling in a large enterprise environment.
o Experience supporting large-scale data center network operations.
o Proven experience in driving network issues to resolution on Major Incident calls.
o Strong knowledge of network equipment from leading vendors (Cisco, Arista, etc.).
o Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
o Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
o Degree or Certifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
o Cisco DCNM and/or Cloud Vision experience
This role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $30/hr to $35/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
