Job Description

Hiring an Optometrist for an 8 week research study in Phoenix, AZ 85027 !

Schedule: ~30 hours/week, Monday–Friday (on-site) day shift.
Estimated Timeline: October-November
Participants: Adults only (18+)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027

Description:
Seeking a licensed Optometrist to perform standardized, basic vision assessments. They will conduct brief exams twice per participant per day and document results in an excel document.

Key responsibilities
-Administer standardized assessments: Visual acuity, Stereo vision, Interpupillary distance (IPD), AC/A ratio,

-Calibrate and use specific equipment (e.g., phoropter/auto-refractor, PD ruler/pupillometer, prism bars, accommodative flippers, stereo tests).

-Maintain strict protocol adherence, timing, and data quality; complete same-day documentation

-Coordinate with study staff to manage participant flow and session timing (AM/PM).

-Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards

Required Skills & Experience

OD and active state license in good standing (required).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced research setting with adults only.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.
