Application Security Engineer (M&A)

A large financial enterprise is looking for an Application Security Architect to join their organization to help in the Mult iCloud space, specifically focusing on AWS. The objective of this role is to ensure security for the business, partners and customers and stay ahead of emerging threats and provide solutions as the enterprise continues to go through Mergers & Acquisitions, creating landing and target zones in public cloud to ensure the environments can be embedded. You will help design and implement security architecture for AWS hosted services, defining and promotions secure coding standards and CI/CD pipelines. You will provide guidance on integrated security tools tailored for cloud environments, specifically AWS and recommending adoption. As an architect, you will serve as the SME for Application Security in governance, audits and compliance and help perform rapid Proof of Concepts (POCS). You will be helping with Merger and Acquisition efforts which include:
-Provide consultation services to M&A on Application Security Domain (practices, tooling, processes, etc.)
-Assist and coordinate with the acquisitions on the implementation of various application security controls (SCA, SAST, DAST, MAST, VMS).
-Track the acquisitions compliance against TECH06.6.9, and remaining associated tasks, blockers.

-7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture.
-3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
-Deep understanding of AWS and secure development lifecycle.
-Experience with security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
-Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, Go, Node.js.
-Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS CWE Top 25, and threat modeling methodologies.
-Security certifications like (similar to) GDSA, GCAD, GWAT, GWEB, GPEN, GCPN GXPN
