Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Open Data Administrator to manage and maintain their organization's Open Data program. The Open Data Administrator will be responsible for collecting, organizing, evaluating, and publishing datasets, collaborating with internal departments to ensure data quality and upload compliance, and managing open data portals and related APIs, applications, and services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data transparency, a strong understanding of data governance, and experience with data management platforms and metadata standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Professional experience managing and maintaining Open Data portals.
• Proficiency in managing large datasets, including collection, storage, and maintenance.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with data cleansing and validation techniques using Oracle tools.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques and software.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with open data platforms and tools (e.g., OpenGov, Socrata, CKAN)
• Experience working with GIS Spatial data.
• Knowledge of OpenGov and Esri AGOL
