Job Description

The IT Web/Drupal Developer (Contractor) will support the Communications and Public Affairs (CAPA) department with our client. This role involves handling day-to-day requests, contributing to project work, and assisting the IT Web team as needed. The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining the clients internet website and associated applications. The developer will create new website structures and functionality, participate in cross-functional meetings, and produce optimized multimedia web designs.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years Deep knowledge of Drupal 9/10
3+ years with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
2+ years with Drupal as a Site Builder, Front-End Developer, Backend Developer, or equivalent
Experience working in multiple environments with version control and continuous integration tools (e.g., GIT)
Strong understanding of web technologies, content management systems, and computer systems
Experience with 508 Accessibility Standards compliance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Drupal Webforms, JS libraries
Experience building responsive, accessibility-compliant websites using Drupal, Twig, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript/jQuery
Familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, Paragraphs, Panels
Strong project management skills and experience managing customer expectations
Experience with issue tracking and ticketing systems
Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to users with varying technical backgrounds
