The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the Quality Department in order to achieve Company goals, always under a regulatory framework and norms applicable to the manufacturing plant. The Quality Manager acts as the Quality Representative.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the processes required for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Report on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
- Ensure the promotion and understanding of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Evaluate the quality management system and keep it up to date.
- Coordinate with customers on any matter related to compliance with product requirements.
- Achieve quality operational objectives by contributing information and analysis of strategic plans and revisions; preparing and completing action plans; identifying and solving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements and implementing changes.
- Maintain product quality by completing system audits, investigating customer complaints, and collaborating with other management members on whatever is required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage, plan, direct, and control the resources of the quality assurance organization to optimize the effective utilization of those resources within budgetary requirements, costs, and quality standards.
- Leads Management Review Meetings
- Assures that internal audits are performed as per the schedule.
