Job Description

Maintain Current Environment & oversee the day-to-day operations of our existing VoIP infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VoIP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Continuously monitor the performance and health of VoIP systems, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
Maintain detailed documentation of the current VoIP environment, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
Work closely with network and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of VoIP systems.
Assist in planning and designing the migration strategy from on-premises VoIP systems to cloud-based solutions.
Implementation Support: Support the implementation of the cloud migration, including testing, deployment, and post-migration support.
Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the VoIP environment, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience working with VoIP
Enterprise level experience
Experience doing migrations from on-prem to cloud for voice
ideally would have been an enterprise migration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Telecom experience with Avaya as this is their current system
