Job Description

This resource will be focused predominantly on growing a product line to our largest existing customers and expanding to new customers and their goal is to hunt for new business relying on their understanding of the market and contacts. The expectation is that this role will be hunting and generating new business 85% of the time. The role will interact with internal teams like Customer Service Representatives (future goal would be that this role has dedicated CSR who would handle quotes and help with administrative pieces), and other collaborative teams to support new business efforts (Product managers, business analysts, etc)

Required Skills & Experience

7-10 years of outside sales experience
Background in telecommunications industry, specifically in fiber, cable, and other product lines
Very strong sense for relationship building and deep network reach
Ability to travel 40-50% to focus on outside sales objectives, and 50-60% business development

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience with DC cable
