Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and technically strong Power BI Enablement Lead to drive the implementation, architecture, governance, and best practices of Power BI across the organization. This role is not focused on report development but rather on establishing and supporting a Power BI Center of Excellence (CoE), engineering standards, and enabling a community of Power BI users to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power BI architecture, including data modeling, security, and deployment strategies.
Define and enforce Power BI governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Build and maintain Engineering Standards and documentation to support scalable Power BI development.
Establish and facilitate a Power BI Center of Excellence (CoE) to mentor and support internal teams and citizen developers.
Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to understand needs and provide expert guidance on Power BI capabilities and usage.
Provide administration and oversight of Power BI environments, including workspace management, licensing, and performance monitoring.
Stay current with Power BI updates and industry trends to continuously improve internal practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with Power BI architecture, governance, and administration.
Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and enterprise BI environments.
Experience building or contributing to a BI Center of Excellence or similar enablement programs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to mentor and guide users at various skill levels in Power BI.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in change management and user enablement.
Background in data governance or data strategy.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI certification are a plus.
