Job Description

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Perform and/or coordinate with P&C techs, Journeyman, and others in the installation, shakedown, and testing or RTUs, meters, and other instrumentation to ensure safe and reliable operation

2) Design or assist in the design of RTU's, substation meters, and other instrumentation installations.

3) Investigate, analyze, and correct SCADA, communication, metering, and other instrumentation failures and misoperations.

4) Perform repair on RTU equipment and other instrumentation

5) Perform acceptance testing and field configuration of RTU's, communication processors, microprocessor based protective relays, and other instrumentation.

6) Develop new SCADA applications for new RTU's and Intelligent Electronic Devices
Specify and order PMAC related equipment to support Construction and Maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Basic understanding of SCADA Systems
- Previous Substation work
- Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical principals
- Troubleshooting & Networking Experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- From the Utilities Industry
- Experience with Schneider Electric System
