Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Engineer, specifically Azure, for a Public Sector client in Phoenix, AZ.
This role will be working 4, 10 hour shifts M-TH with 2 days being onsite.
This group has a large migration coming up that the server team will be partnering closely with (system engineers) and will be able to have the ability to build the cloud architecture from the ground up. Road maps put together and criteria, templates to move towards but will be the one to carry out that remap. Will be creating resource groups, v-netting, etc.
Develops and maintains the cloud standards, solutions, and architecture in conjunction with the IT Leadership teams cloud strategy.
Collaborates with development, engineering, security, and networking teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
Builds, designs, deploys, maintains, and lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud offerings and departments.
Creates, manages, monitors and decommissions cloud infrastructure, systems, resources, networks, and other cloud services to support Town of Gilbert infrastructure.
Troubleshoots incidents, identifies root cause, and implements preventative measures.
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Manages requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability and reliability of cloud services.
Provides on-going support for specific cloud-based enterprise infrastructure systems and applications.
Implements infrastructure automation using code and tools.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management, Information Systems, or closely related field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience
7+ years of experience in Infrastructure roles (Cloud, Network, Security)
Experience with Enterprise Multi Cloud Network Design, Administration, and Automation including Firewall Security.
Experience with VNET, Virtual Network Peering and Resource Groups - setting them up, connection pieces, plug ins, etc.
Design and Implementation of a Cloud Environment and landing zones
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Network Engineer Associate
Multi Cloud Virtual Stack Security Administration, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and ISP connectivity.
Automation as Code with Terraform
Security of any cloud solutions
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Desired
Project management procedures and techniques, including capacity planning concepts, and business analysis methodologies.
Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevent Systems, and Firewall configuration.
Azure infrastructure design and services.
