Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be apart of the sustainment team, working onsite at one of their clients in Chandler, AZ. Acting as the support representative, this Engineer will be assisting in any repairs or routine maintenance of their equipment. Each day you will begin by learning from the overnight team what activities were completed and address any critical equipment failures. You will also sit down with the clients leadership team to discuss any updates and align on priorities for that day. Strong documentation and communication skills is a must for this team as you will be responsible for providing updates to the team directly along with documentation inside of their tool.
Additional responsibilities:
-Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
- Troubleshoots equipment problems
- Maintains records and reports as required
- Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
- Orders and installs parts
- Responds to emergency service calls as required
- Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
- Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
- Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
- Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.
Pay Range: $25-$28/hr

- 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
- Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
- Military experience in the following MOS:
o Avionics Technician
o Load Master
o Electronics Technician
